Delicious! I used to visit this restaurant quite frequently, but I've recently discovered a new place that I prefer due to its comparable quality and closer location. The food here remains excellent, and the prices are what you'd expect at a sushi restaurant. The service is also pleasant! Although I don't have any sushi photos from this place, I do have a picture of the chicken katsu I ordered some time ago. For those of you with allergies, be sure to inquire about the cooking oils they use and check that they aren't garnishing your dish with anything that could trigger an allergic reaction. I once ordered chicken katsu without specifying "no sesame," and the rice on the side had sesame seed...
The red miso soup had excellent tofu definitely NOT supermarket bought a great first impression. I ordered the Chirashi which came out to $23.98 after tax. The portions were huge 19 pieces of fish, enough for two people, but no tamago yaki. The freshness was pretty good, probably due to good turnover at this restaurant. The waitresses were quickly moving from table to table like busy bees. Unfortunately, they gave me the same wrong bill, three times in a row 8^p. Overall, even though a bit expensive, it's actually a good value at 4.5 stars, considering the portions and attention to quality (it appears to be a Korean run restaurant). I will be back to try their sashimi and nigiri.
In my opinion, this restaurant offers the best sushi for the price. The fish portions are generous, and the sashimi is served at just the right temperature (I enjoy it in my car). It's definitely a go-to place when you're craving quality sushi. I've noticed some recent negative reviews that seem unjust. It's a tough time for restaurants during COVID, and we should be more understanding of their challenges in hiring and operations. I've tried over ten sushi spots in the area, and I truly believe you won't find better anywhere else.
I've been visiting Satomi since it was a cozy little restaurant that only accommodated about 30 people. I'm thrilled to see how much they’ve grown and succeeded. Their food is always fresh, and they offer an excellent selection, along with prompt and friendly customer service. I've been a fan since my very first visit and will keep coming back. If you go, be sure to try the Greg Roll—it's my absolute favorite dish on the menu.

Delicious take-out during the pandemic! The sashimi is pretty fresh! The rolls are very delicious!!! The price is reasonable (Bay Area price)! Highly recommend it if you crave for sushi sashimi Japanese food like me!!! We ordered 5 rolls with one assorted sashimi for 4 people, about $25 per person!!!
We enjoyed our meal at Satomi. At first glance we were a little disappointed in the number of pieces of the rolls, but the actual size of each piece is larger than most rolls we've had. As a bonus they gave us a bowl of tofu for our one year old. The Philly roll was super creamy and tasty.
The food is great, but they forgot to include wasabi and ginger. Additionally, my hand rolls looked a bit messy. Nevertheless, everything was delicious! I will likely order in person from this restaurant again.
Great spot for sushi! Every dish we tried was better than the last. We kicked things off with the appetizers, and the bomb was truly a flavor explosion...

I've been eagerly waiting for them to join DoorDash! Yay! I really enjoy their beef teriyaki and rolls. I hope they continue this great service!
We tried it for the first time and I can confidently say I won't eat anywhere else from now on. This is the best sushi in the East Bay!
