As a Mexican restaurant owner and someone who spends part of the year in Mexico, I am extremely particular about Mexican food. This place is outstanding!!! The AL Pastor taco special is simply the best!! Their green salsa to accompany it is absolutely perfect! I can't wait to return! From the chips and salsa to their excellent service, everything is just right! Thank you for treating my husband and me so kindly and for the incredible food!!!
Used to really enjoy this place until the AWFUL customer service last night. Got home from work, looked to see which restaurant was open. It was only 8:40 and when we called they said they were closed (closes at 9:30 on Sunday’s) solely because they didn’t want to make food. Music was blaring in the background and you could clearly hear lots of people, definitely not closed. Plus we drove by just to double check. Horrible, will not return.
I have to say, it was a good experience. I ordered the beef fajitas, and the only thing I wished for was that they had homemade flour tortillas like the ones you find at home. Tex-Mex restaurants usually have those. Other than that, everything was great, and I would definitely recommend this place. The ladies at the bar are hard-working Latinas.
Edit: ok it's getting much dirtier. The photo is one of their air vents that appears to have smoke damage around it and is just flopping as the air blows. Old; This is just a good place I will continue to go. It's got good American Mexican food and a decent price. The place isn't the nicest and shows it's age but it's clean enough! Service was FAST. I arrived about 11:45AM. Orders taco and shredded beef enchilada off lunch menu. Had my soda and chips and salsa within seconds of being seated. Had lunch in front of me in short order. Food was HOT and tasty. Wait staff was friendly without being encroaching. Total was $12. I’d come back.
This is just a good place where I'm going. It has good American Mexican food and a decent price. The place is not the most beautiful and shows that it is age, but it is clean enough!
The service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I would definitely return.
