My wife and I visited the Latin American Restaurant in Boonton, NJ, while we were in town, hoping for some comfort food. I can honestly say this was the most delicious meal we've had during our stay. The restaurant was clean, and the owner took the time to chat with us for quite a while, which we really appreciated. I ordered the steak topped with onions, along with a salad, white rice, black beans, and maduros (sweet plantains). The portions were generous; my wife even took her leftovers back to the hotel for later. She's a very picky eater, but she enjoyed everything that was served. The food at this restaurant is made with care, offering both freshness and deliciousness. The Honduran Fried Chicken, served with red sauce, plantains, and a refreshing slaw, is truly exceptional and unique. Other standout dishes include the flavorful Mexican enchiladas accompanied by a delicious salsa rojo, topped with crispy, cold fresh vegetables and avocado that balance the hot dish beautifully. Additional favorites are the Huevos Rancheros, guacamole, chicken quesadillas, and Tacos Alambre (beef with bacon). I could go on and on! We absolutely love this place and my family eats here almost every week.
I’m quite surprised that this restaurant isn’t more popular. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is clean, and they offer a fantastic variety. The buffalo chicken sandwich is made with a genuine cutlet rather than a frozen patty. The tacos are outstanding, the staff is extremely friendly, and there’s a spacious dining area.
One of my favorite latin food spots in the area. Specials are always good and whatever the salsas they use to cook with the meats are just incredible. Pork and beef that fall off the bone. 2 ladies that work here are so sweet and accommodating. Reasonable prices, 2 thumbs way up

you just lost a customer, I ordered for Thanksgiving way over priced, at first when I learned the price I imagined it must be really good but it was just ok, steak with peppers that I ordered no peppers just onions, steak were tough, so disappointing

Amazing!!! Everything is made fresh to order. I requested my guacamole to be extra spicy, and it turned out perfect. I highly recommend the quesadillas, guacamole, and flan. I can't wait to come back! I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Que ricooooo. En serio. This place has never ever failed me when I order steak tacos. Please don't change the cook! The flavors in their dishes are genuine. My husband and I have ordered numerous dishes and no complaint.
