L'Auberge Espagnole Bordeaux

first I have to say that the service at l’auberge espagnole is great everyone my sister and I met were very friendly and helpful with our asking about the menu. I wish I could say that the food was just as good, but it was quite average. the Spanish omelette was probably the best plate we tried, and the Manchego banana board was in order, but nothing to write home. I could also be completely ignorant of how traditional sangria should taste, but here it was too sweet for my taste. When I came back, I would get something from the weeping list that looked very interesting. again everyone in the restaurant was really nice and I wish I could give more than stars.

this restaurant is just a bit outside the action of the ortes St-Pierre, but it is a big sound. their tapas were very similar to in Spain. we shared the patatas aioli, the croquetas de jambon, the garlic garnels and a...cheese and a charcuterie platter. all were great. the prices were reasonable, their wine selection is great. only one comment is that they brought everything together at the same time. we would have preferred the cold plates first (cheese and wood charcoal) and then the warm plates.

perfect trifecta. so impressed I went twice in less than two weeks. I am a great fan of tapa wine bars, where I am friends about delicious little bite relax, wee and friendly service. here it is! the weeping list is here extensive and. the owner is very knowledgeable in all areas. they have a seafood risotto that is to die, I have tried to revise it since I returned to California. I will certainly be back when I return to bordeaux!
