On Saturday, April 29, 2023, three of the guests ordered fish and chips and all enjoyed it. The batter was crispy, the fish well-cooked, and it was served with a portion of fries and a salad that could have been more generous, but everything was delicious. The fourth person chose the linguine with smoked salmon, which was perfectly to their liking. The service was a bit slow because the restaurant was at full capacity, which is a good sign according to our group. It is a pleasant and cozy restaurant with a rustic interior. Definitely worth a visit.
Sunday brunch was very good and very reasonably priced! Food was a little cold but we ate outside and it was a little cool. The eggs Benedict with duck was amazing!!! My son had the breakfast poutine and he could not finish it. That does not happen often!!! Coffee and service was great!!! Will have to go back to try dinner options.
I ordered two hamburgers, tacos, and chocolate mousse for takeout. The service was good, but the food was average. The burgers were good, but the tacos were dry and lacked flavor. The chocolate mousse was not good, and the fries were hard and overcooked. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.
Worst fish and chip ever … went with a part of 8 and we did not receive are plates at the same time 15 minutes in between for Half of the party … fish was not cook … they need to learn the the oil should be hot before you put the fish in … overpriced . We ordered tacos and considering the price, this was a poor deal. Dry and to much salt. No real effort to elevate a very simple dish.In addition, the fries were not freshly cooked. Microwave perhaps.
This is not the place to go if you are only looking to have drinks. We were required to order at least one food item. The chairs are worn and in need of replacement. I will not be returning.
Food was pretty good excellent house poutine and house breaded shrimp. Fish and Chips were underwhelming. Good service. The cocktails were good. Loved the cabin atmosphere.
