We ate here three times in four days on a recent stop near Bouzigues. The food was uniformly excellent and generous, but the highlight for us was the friendliness of the lady owner and her staff. We almost felt like family by the end of our last meal. The reason we went initially was the fact that they prepare other dishes besides the fruits de mer on offer everywhere in Bouzigues. The tuna burger was amazing, as were the oysters and mussels gratin. My wife had salt cod in aioli which she said was delicious. There are lots of restaurants along le Bassin de Thau, but most of them were full when we arrived at 12.35, so we were happy to find a table for four at Le 29. What a find it was. The € 22 menu came with a large plateau of superfresh oysters and (raw) mussels and a delicious fish soup. The main course was a fine piece of morue coated with parmesan. To finish the meal there were many deserts to choose from. The housewine is near perfect and the service is friendly and fast. Bringing the dog was no problem at all. The restaurant itself (inside) is nicely and tastefully decorated. It was a great lunch and we'll definitely come back here.
