Arriving in Domme late evening after a transatlantic flight, another flight from Paris and a 3 hour car trip from Bordeaux, we were searching for a meal and a drink. Although the kitchen was soon to close, the wonderful waitress provided us with beautiful omelets...containing mushrooms and thirst quenching cidre. The food was tasty, the service was welcoming and the view remarkable. Needless to say, this was our go to restaurant during our week long stay. The food never failed to please whether it was duck breast, Charolais steak, local wine or yummy panacotta with fruit, The view continued to inspire awe through fog and threatening storms.
What a pity the food is not equal to the magnificent surroundings. Staff stretched so that service was not as good as it could, but very pleasantly wait staff despite their clear underlay. Manager/cashier came over less to agree to the point of unwillingness .Our foods lacked taste and felt as if it had waited too long on the hot plate. Menu was small, so no excuse for underwhelming food.
Un dimanche soir, sans avoir réservé et pourtant, on nous a trouvé gentiment une table très bien placée. C'est bon et copieux. Le foie gras est très bien préparé. La vue est incroyable. Soleil couchant sur le Dordogne. Nous recommandons.
Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant avec une magnifique vue . Lee sevice était rapide et efficace Bon rapport qualité prix avec des produits locaux environ 30 E pour 2 plats et une eau pétillante , plats copieux. Je recommande

We had lunch here on a recent visit to Domme. I had the goats cheese salad which was lovely and the Rose wine was good. Lovely view from our table over the valley. Would eat here again.
We showed up late, but they still served us (very nice). The food was great....very classic, and hot. We never felt rushed, and it was nice to have a meal outside.
Extremely slow service low quality food which is not compensated by the nice view. Nothing to add. Really does not deserve 100 characters
the terrace is very pleasant with a beautiful view. we ate a crêpe each but no flavor. very disappointed!conclusion:bof.

Food choices may be somewhat overpriced for the quality but restaurant choices in Domme are rather limited.
it would be interesting to update the schedules.
