To begin with the biggest issue, a gluten intolerant member of our party was served regular bread despite clearly and specifically ordering gluten free. Luckily this is not a life threatening allergy otherwise things could have been a lot worse. She 's now suffering severe stomach pains and feels very lucky that is all. Have been twice now and have loved it both times. The one star reviews on here all seem to have come from the same party. The food is lovely, with getting plenty of top ups on water and bread and no delays to our food. I also find the staff very attentive and pleasant, with the atmosphere being spot on. Apologies as I can't remember their names but I have been served by the man from Liverpool and the waitress with the long brown hair and glasses, both times I have been impressed with their lovely customer service, we are made to feel very welcome. The food at this restaurant is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I visited Middlesbrough for a day and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, but what stood out for me was the unique interior of the building. The food is decent, but the prices are a bit high for the quality. I particularly enjoyed the calamari, which had a crunchy exterior and tender, moist squid inside. It was fried perfectly and served promptly. However, the other dishes were not as impressive.
Had a date night last night n it was amazing the food was spot on service was wonderful and the atmosphere was spot on for me and my partner would definitely recommend n definitely coming again .
