3 weeks on holiday in the caravan in the Dordogne and a little overnight stop in Le Mans, Yvre L'Eveque campsite, on the way back to Calais. We decided we would see if we could find a nice restaurant after the long drive. Le Boeuf Tient Le Pave certainly did not disappoint. The warmth of the welcome and the smiles of the excellent service team throughout the evening was exceptional (I wish we could say it was characteristic of all the restaurants we had been to this holiday - Sarlat restaurants take note).The menu itself did not offer a great deal of choice but the food was absolutely superb and at 21E was really excellent value. I was in Le Mans for a week and chose to dine here three times. The food was delicious, the staff were great and it had really pleasant atmosphere.
In the old historic portion of the town in Le Mans, a gem of a restaurant. Great location, price, servise, and food!
