we spotted this establishment by walking from the nearby parking lot and decided that it was a must-see visit. our special attraction was the guests who had lunch around the bar where you mix and watch your food cook - so unique! how you cross the wine store and then enter the dining room. the menu was written on a black table with a fixed menu of 13 € for entry and dish, both with 2 choices. we visited this charming café years ago under the previous owner, and it was nicely remade without losing its intimate charm. The meal is still largely prepared behind the bar within reach if the guests and the inhabitants sit down and discuss in the small bar - all very casual. We were at bayeux for the tapestry museum and hungry for lunch after a morning there. walking in the center, we fell on a wonderful smell of well cooked food and followed our nose to this little coffee. it can accommodate less than 20 people but fortunately there were two seats open at the bar. very tasty specialties and at reasonable prices for main entrances and dishes. and don't miss a stop in the wine store to which the coffee is attached because they have very good wines. I love wine! but it! a dry white fruity of red wine served too fresh and an exessive surtax for a bottle of Beaujolais that we wanted to consume on site with two meals I did not understand. a small wine bar near the large bayeux shopping artery. there was a cheese cutlery board, all accompanied by a white wine advised by the patron saint who turned out to be very good.
