Such a terrible and disappointing experience. We have arrived as a walk-in around 13:30, the first floor of the Terrasse was busy. We were asked to wait for the next table available on the second patio, downstairs (no one took our names, details or any information) After 35 minutes waiting, I decided to check what was going on, since no one approached us. We finally got seated on a round table full of dishes from previous guests. We ordered sparkling water… the server did not open the bottle, neither serve. No water glasses on the table… we were watching the bottle for 7minuted until we asked for glasses . The servers are running like chickens, doing things one by one. They are definitely no...
A memorable experience to have dined here. The views from the restaurant is simply breathtaking. Food is simple but towards the pricey end. Nonetheless, you really pay for the experience and the privilege to explore this wonderful property. Entrance to the Hotel Grounds and Restaurant is limited to guest with reservations only. The restaurant in located within the ground of Chateau La Chèvre D'Or, and all guest may wonder around to explore the beautiful medieval building and its jaw dropping gardens. Menu is simple with light lunch offerings. We had a pizza with some salad which is highly recommended.
Stumbled into Chèvre d’Or without a dinner reservation but was rewarded with an amazing table with a fabulous sea view at Le Cafe du Jardin, the less expensive but equally delicious cafe at the hotel. Our two entrees, sea bream with vegetables and beef tagliata with roasted potatoes, were wonderfully prepared and quite generous portions. In addition, the limoncello baba (the limoncello version of baba rhum) was excellent. The final tab for two entrees, two desserts and a bottle of wine was well under what we expected to spend given the five star rating of the hotel and the Michelin starred kitchen!
Une véritable pépite cachée ! Le jardin est enchanteur, la vue absolument à couper le souffle, et pourtant le lieu reste étonnamment calme et pas bondé. La cuisine est délicieuse, raffinée, et les prix ne sont finalement pas plus élevés qu’ailleurs pour une expérience de ce niveau. Le service est chaleureux et attentif, ce qui rend le moment encore plus agréable. Un énorme coup de cœur de la région — à ne surtout pas manquer si vous êtes de passage à Èze !

WOW great venue and beautiful gardens. Outside reception was really good but then it went down hill. I was informed the restaurant had two stars? I was served sea bass/ bream dish which had soggy skin, but when I questioned this the head waiter did not respond. Lack of creativity and a really shabby service overall means they are giving stars away in cereal boxes. Guys take a long look at yourselves and don’t take your guests for granted!!!!
Truly breathtaking views from the top of Eze village. They are known for their pizza we had the artichoke and truffle and it was delicious! Servers are nice, but this is a more casual setting so don’t expect 5 star service. Reservations are recommended and you can valet your car at the Chèvre d’Or entrance parking is next to impossible.
Don’t get me wrong, the views are beautiful. However, I emailed months ago for a reservation and was told one was not needed. Upon arrival, we were told they were booked but wrote our name down to come back at 2:30 pm. When we did, we were given major problems for not having a room number aka not staying there. So we left. Disappointed.
Une vue à couper le souffle ! Un service très agréable, une cuisine parfaitement maitrisée, les moules farcies sont excellentes, le cordon bleu du chef Tom Meyer est incroyable (c'est lui qui officiait le jour où nous y sommes allés). Je recommande !!
