When you are touring on a motorbike or car its nice to find somewhere to stop for lunch, this was a pleasant little town with lots of small bars and restaurants and from the outside it was often difficult to tell at noon if they were actually open, weather was not best so doors shut and outside tables unoccupied, however once we had ventured into this one we new we had chosen wisely,very unassuming decor but such a nice welcome from the owner/manager who was keen to try his English out on us (embarrassingly much better than my pitiful French!) it wasn't long before both floors were busy with locals and I could see why despite only two people front of house the food was delivered promptly, my...

Stopped in for a coffee with the idea that we might stay for lunch if it was nice as the location seemed good. Several disparaging comments from the serving staff put us off ordering anything other than drinks. Essentially an example reinforcing the generally unfair stereotype of poor French customer service. Would not recommend.

Situated in a pleasant square I really had a most delicious meal of chicken in a tasty sauce. There's not much better than lunch in France on a sunny day and this place filled the bill perfectly. Service was efficient but relaxed.
