This is a small restaurant located at a busy Montbeliar traffic artery. The few tables inside and out were filled quickly when we were there. Reservations are therefore recommended. The menu is small which is good, the wine selection is limited. You can easily see that there is a hard-working family crew trying their best to satisfy the customers. However our dishes were lacking: The Risotto was overly liquid, the steaks were tasteful but not the best meat quality. I had hoped for a Sauce Bearnaise but what was on the plate had a strange unidentifiable taste. The small ratatouille 'garniture ' was entirely overcooked. We went down to this establishment by going to Montbéliard, because it was noted 2° best restaurant in this city on trip and had very good reviews...What a good surprise...A simple but carefully made kitchen...And what a humility. The waiter comes to apologise for dessert (a thousand-sheet of lemony cream strawberries simple, but very elegantly assembled and delicious.) telling us that the chef is less sweet than salty, but tries to progress... that he reassures the chef and that he continues like that. He understood everything in the kitchen. no dish in the snoring name, but of the technique, of the good products and the love of his work and the respect of his customers...I don't ask for mo...
My wife, I and two friends visited here during our 2 day visit to the Xmas market. Fortunately we had booked previously as it was fully booked and they were turning people away. The restaurant has a lovely decor and good food and wine selection. The Quality of food was fantastic and prices were not overly expensive. If we had one comment, it would be that we thought the young waitress was rushing us thru the courses. However, we didn’t let that affect us, and naturally slowed things down ourselves. Overall fantastic experience and well worth a visit. Remember…. Book in advance !
very beautiful discovery, pretty little restaurant. very welcoming and warm personal. that to say dishes . that is good , ultra fresh products , service to the top. bravo to the cuisto !!! We'll come back for sure! !

We spent our last night in Montbeliard in this restaurant and must say it was pleasantly agreeable, good cooking, an attentive and helpful service, with good tips in a tastefully decorated surroundings.
