We’ve been coming to La Plagne for 7 years and finally they have altered the button lift from the Bergerie so that you can visit Le Dou du Praz on Ski’s. Not worth the effort. We arrived at the end of lunch, sat at a table and waited, and waited. We popped inside to see if it was order taken inside, and were told someone would be over to our table. We waited, and waited… there were plenty of staff, serving French people, but not English. Finally after 25 mins we got served, we only waited that long because the kids were happy in the snow. Finished our first drink and waited… and waited, got the attention of waitress, she went inside and then served some other tables. In the end we walked out...
Im glad we didn’t listen to the reviews about bad service, perhaps those were a long time ago. We went there twice, once for lunch, and one for dinner. Both times service was amazing, and specially the dinner staff, who went above and beyond to make it a special night. There aren’t many options in La Plagne that offer other food besides Savoyarde (cheese), burgers, pizza, etc. But this is one of those places and food was great. Would definitely recommend both the lunch and the dinner experience (for dinner they pick you up in a snow piste basket which is a great added bonus as it’s so much fun)
we come for the second year in a row to beautiful swan and the restaurant the dou du praz is a benchmark of tranquility and flavor for us!!! we eat very well ! full of good flavors of savoy and good dishes for the pleasure of each. The team is really very friendly, the server is as dynamic as it is pleasant! a congratulate !!! more the framework and life are idyllic and so relaxing that we would leave more! Besides, I write this comment well set in a transat on the restaurant terrace !in 2 words, go on !in 1 word, great !
what a setting !!! what a view !!! what a table !!! access to the restaurant is done in 10 minutes by a bumpy path but it is an altitude restaurant and what a panorama (see photos.) you see the different villages of the swan and their summit. the meal is delicious for a medium budget but what quality. a lavarin with fresh crayfish of the day accompanied by a glass of dry white wine and a dessert. count 30 euros on average but what delight to taste buds. to visit

we just took a terrace dessert so hard to give a full opinion. However I would highlight the very friendly and very conciliating welcome with the little one. Moreover, the site is really beautiful. after we have to recognize that prices are high enough and that I expected a bigger ice for the price.
This is terrible for service- I can’t comment on the food as ours hadn’t come after an hour. We paid for our drinks and left. I was told ‘paper got lost’. Problem with that is that is was all electronic!!! Is it between are English? All the French got served. Strongly advise to avoid it
a small altitude restaurant with a beautiful view accessible by car and 4x4. top tranquility. nice service. and excellent super well-stocked pancakes (see photo blueberry crêpe.) to renew!
Been here when not busy and food is good. Made a reservation and they made us wait 20 mins for a table. No food after one hour. The staff were also fed up and did not care.
