We stopped on spec and given my english translation being poor and google translation being even worse a kind lady ( the wife of the owner/chef as it turned out ) offered for her husband to come out and translate for us.What a wonderful and friendly guy - made us feel very very welcome and after explaining the formula 14.90 Euro we both elected to have that. What an absolute delight the meal was - main was superbly cooked piece of lovely cod with new potatoes and delicious sauce. We both devoured the meal with french bread to mop up the sauce. The dessert was equally delicious with very finely sliced pineapple and a boule of mango ice cream to compliment it.Fantastic and afterwards the chef...

my son and I visited noirmoutier for the grand depart of these years tour de france. to come after an early start over the bridge (before it closed at 7.00 o'clock,) it had come a long day to midday. after a circle of local...Eateries, after the island was a little less inhabited, we came to lick. they have a 19e 2-course lunch menu- I didn't have the best expectations, but starving came first! but wow, we were both blown away from the aromen and presentation of 4 wonderfully directed. not only eating was fantastic, but also the staff was great. to recommend - they will not be disappointed!
the feeling and the decoration was not for us. a few bright lights misplaced and chairs is not for everyone. the food is really delivered. Although it felt a bit commercial, we were pleasantly surprised by the edifice! everything was on the square and the eicoko. dessert was very interesting and beautiful!
