I don't know who criticizes this place for their pizza because they were awful. Grant it, I know that we are in france and that they are known for other things, but my husband wanted pizza and it was within walking distance from home. the sauce had the taste of a can of cans and a good deal. Then the mozzarella was stacked to try to mask the taste of the sauce. Maybe other dishes are good but pizza is not. the restaurant itself is very pleasant with seats outside and inside. the staff was very friendly and at least one of the servers spoke a perfect English. the staff is pleasant and warm and welcomes us with open arms, the decoration is a little dark and tristoune to our taste but the quality is there. Too bad that the absence of simple dishes (steaks fries) are not available when we are over 12 years old. you have steack, you have fries: you can satisfy the customer. If the staff team is not fit to satisfy a simple customer request, that this refusal is not justified is a bad point.
we are rather satisfied with our meal in this restaurant. service is efficient, servers are courteous and smiling. Can be a little waiting to place our order but nothing bad! We found the products of good quality and the dishes very good even if the plates seemed a little light in terms of quantity. the menu offers a wide choice of dishes, there are for all tastes!
small but good and welcoming place, price (average) in relation to quality especially in the choice of florentin menu. It's better to come around 7:00 to make sure you have a place. legumes soup (between carrots and tomato) is also recommended. The mistled cream is good.

Welcome to the top! After we were rejected by other places, given time, they found us a place and served us a very good soup of legumes and a full and very tasty menu, all accompanied by a good cream burnt and a glass of calvados.
I wouldn't recommend going to that restaurant. Based on the comments, we expected a good restaurant. However, we were very disappointed. the quality of the food is low and the atmosphere is like a canteen.
Our family of 5 ranging from 18 year old college girls to 90 year old grandfather enjoyed our meal. We had pizza/burrata/salads. Our meals were all good and the wait staff was attentive.
Florentine is a pleasant establishment, nothing to say about service and pizzas are very good. In summary: a good address in bayeux!
