Absolutely packed by locals and loved by tourists. Typical dishes for this area. NB! Swiss Germans please remember not to ask for Rösti as this is the French-speaking side of the Röstigraben. Röstigraben is a humorous term used to refer to the cultural boundary between German-speaking and French-speaking parts of Switzerland. The food was good but by no means exceptional. The service could be better but the ladies are under a lot of pressure and it appears there are not enough waiters. Yes, I would recommend Le Fribourgeois, simply for it's authenticity and local feel.

Das Essen war einfach fantastisch und verdient die volle Punktzahl. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, weshalb ich ihm 4 von 5 Punkten gebe. Die Atmosphäre des Lokals war ebenfalls angenehm und einladend, was zu einem gelungenen Abend beigetragen hat. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Erfahrung!
You won't find a lot of vegetarian options on the menu (a lot of emphasis on ham) but it's the best fondue I've found in the area. Generally, they'll make it to match the number of people that are ordering. If you visit for dinner, listen for the (huge) animated music box to go off in the corner and play some traditional music. Also look for the giant cow bell hanging from the ceiling. Its a relaxed atmosphere to spend the time with friends and/or work colleagues.
An excellent place. I would never find it without a local help. A very traditional local restaurant. The speciality is fondue... Someat this is very very good I can recomend the merenge as well is 2000 calorie but you must try. Is fantastic. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Das Fondu war gut, aber ich habe auch nicht viel Vergleichbares (ich muss mehr mit dem Schweizer Fondu experimentieren). Die Leute dort sprechen kein Englisch, aber sie haben sich sehr bemüht, mir zu helfen, das zählt!
Discovered once via TripAdvisor it's now part of every trip to south west of Switzerland. I still can't read the menu and google helps a lot, but it's worth a stop by every time. Excellent food and service!

My first visit in Bulle & first fondue. Staying locally & we thought we'd give it a go. Very pleasant staff in a very traditional setting. Lots to offer on the menu.
