We went as a family of four. Main course only. The waitress was friendly and fairly efficient. The food however...Mussels ok (they should be amazing though in this part of the world.)Kids meals were a very burnt steak haché with pasta bolognaise. Weird but the kids liked it.Chicken and chips with green beans. Aarggh!!!! I understand that they may need to precook the chicken but how many times? It was inedible. The green beans were out of a can, very sad.
Arrived about 1pm on a Tuesday and expected Le Crotoy to be quiet, but it was busy and took the only available table. Have eaten here before and just had the set menu c21Eur for ficelle, modules and dessert. All well cooked and service was fine - the waiter worked hard and could have done with better support but just about kept pace with demand!
Should have checked reviews on Trip Advisor before visiting this restaurant. One of the dishes, which was the main reason for us choosing the restaurant was not available. Fish soup I imagine came out of a tin, the mussels were not good, did not smell...More
Ate there today and we had a good experience. The restaurant appeared initially full, but the staff made room for us within about 15 minutes. Mussels, snails, sole meuniere were all good. No complaints.
