Le Lotus D'Or - Tisch reservieren

A hidden gem of a French Vietnamese restaurant off the ‘tourist track’ in the centre of the new part of Carcassonne. If you are jaded from the French cuisine offered to tourists then a visit to this restaurant is a ‘must do’. Owned by Philippe...and his Vietnamese wife Anne, the food is superb and rates as one of the best restaurants that we have eaten in during our 2 months in France, Spain and Portugal. Philippe has a pretty good command of English and is a very convivial humour. In summary: quality superb and the prices very reasonable.

Previous reviews I suspect we went to the wrong restaurant tonight, as it may not be the same place. eating was terrible, absolutely no aroma presentation left much to wish. I assume the note was that we were the only people there on a Friday night. the pom pom was when we went to pay, were said that they only accept cash or a jackass that was interesting how a guy had dipped to pay a takeaway with a card! we had not had enough money with us, so we had to go to find a dealer, and then back to calm down. will not come back definitiw.

that is the worst Asian food I have ever tasted, we did not find one, but two haare in the crackers I think tina turner prepared the crackers as for the main dishes they were bland and tasteless very disappointing

we visited this restaurant tonight, we found the host very hospitable and friendly during our stay and he had a good feeling of humor. we found the chief and desserts we ordered to be charming. Thank you.

Small Oriental Restaurant. Could get a little cramped when full. Good food at reasonable prices. Well patronised (a good sign ! on Saturday night. No credit cards.
