Spent several hours on 1/7 in Villefranche. Took the bus 607 from Nice and returned by train only 2 stops back to Nice Ville. The town, harbour and beaches are busy but worth a visit. Pretty and the views are very lovely out to sea and along the coast. The Med water warm too. However watch out getting the train back to Nice. The train you take comes from Monaco onto platform 2 and is very busy we had to wait for a 2nd train to arrive 1st one was jam packed when it arrived in villefranche. Getting tickets is by a machine on the platform self serve. There are queues and lots of eyes and whilst navigating this someone lifted our credit card and some cash. We had a small intimate family meal after a wedding celebration in Mayssa. It is a fabulous setting with amazing views of Villefranche Bay from their terrace which is an amazing setting for dinner. They were so helpful with communication via email as we were travelling from abroad to organise the meal. Food and service were excellent! The ibericus pork and profiteroles went down very well in particular but it was all fantastic food! Pricey enough but high standard and similar to other places in Villefranche.
Dinner in the cityfranche rade, what a marvel...The service is very attentive, the cocktails are excellent. The meal was perfect (the tiramisu passion coco is simply divine,) alone flat: the risotto to the saint-jacques, quite fade...But the setting, the service and the kitchen are worth the trip and guarantee a very nice evening.
my family had surprise me for my 40 years to invite me to this restaurant.Beautiful unforgettable moments: the exceptional sea wolf, the carpaccio of saint jacques to truffles a feast for taste buds and all this with a view to the sea.I also thank the staff for their kindness and attention.Restaurant that I strongly advise

Lovely and high enough for a cool breeze. The menu had options for all. The view was picture perfect best restaurant view in Villefranche) The staff was welcoming and friendly and at the table a little stool for handbags. The food was very good. The fish was fresh and we loved the tortiglioni with truffled cream.
Again the view is faultless but here it is the staff. Everybody works in harmony with each other. The food was outstanding, a good selection in the wine list and the setting is breathtaking. Personal preference is to eat late in the evening rather than lunchtime with the heat and sun. Truly a lovely experience!
Super restaurant with a superb sea view during the meal. the staff is very nice and professional (for fish ect..)We eat very well for a not so expensive price. very quiet and restful atmosphere perfect for a candlelit dinner. Excellent restaurant.
We came by chance, we loved the place. a beautiful view, you take your eyes full while you enjoy a very good meal. The dishes are sought after, beautifully decorated and very copied. We have a great evening. We'll go back.
