Very nice station in summer! Possible to do many activities without paying. On the other hand, at the slightest fee thing, you're getting on. You need to know and accept it or change your station! Super stay in Meribel ..we found a accommodation in the top ... small wooden chalet ...Meribel is just beautiful the landscapes... the architecture.. the Christmas lights..the snow ..unfortunately with the period Covid no bars or restaurants..I imagine that in normal time it must be very alive!!! We rented skis 15 euros a day) and we broke out on the slopes the closed ski lifts cause Covid) so sled and cross-country ski for us.. it was a first and we loved..plen of small shops or we bought local products .. small stay of 4 wonderful days.
Family resort with a remarkable ski area (especially with Mont Vallon and where many activities (patinoire, spa, toboggan trail of nearly 4 km, outdoor swimming pool, restaurants and bars, etc... are available. Shops nearby, dairy cooperative, pharmacy, sports shops, ... everything is done to make sure you don't miss anything! Much more authentic than his neighbor Courchevel, I particularly affectionate Meribel where I have been going for several years.
