The food is incredible but I was so disappointed when I tried to amend my booking... basically, I had a table for 2 booked for tonight but the other person has covid. Rather than cancel, it was coincidental that another group I know were going to be at the restaurant at the same sort of time, so I asked if I could instead join their party of 4, making their table a 5. I was just told a flat no in a very rude tone and had to pay a cancellation fee of £48. It would have been better for the restaurant for me to have gone as I would have easily spent more than £48 on 2 or 3 courses. Frustrating and as much as I love the food there, I doubt I 'll ever go again.
Had a birthday dinner here this week. JP and Kim looked after us superbly as always. The oysters Kim recommended were perfect. We were spoilt for choice on main course and went Lobster and Monkfish Curry, both delicious. Just had enough room to sneak a plate of small treats in for dessert. Came with my mum after having not been for a while and was as amazing as we remembered! JP Kim are so welcoming and couldn’t fault the food. Always such a lovely ambience, can’t wait to go back!
