Great coffee in a cute cafe. Very cute cafe which was really well decorated for Christmas, with hand drawn images in the windows. The cafe is flooded with local art and photography, which is great to see. The cafe also has a selection of speciality foods to buy for home, including pasta and sauces, which reassuringly have no English on them (a sign of an authentic Italian product! . Friendly staff served us very promptly.Coffee was very smooth, not bitter or harsh at all. Far from a typical dark roast which was refreshing. Delicious coffee.Would highly recommend especially when you can sit in.
I have discovered Surbeanton on the 14th of October and since been there by myself, with friends and family for almost ten times. Service is great with always a smile and the food is delicious. The coffee here is of great quality and taste. I am also a big fan of rooibos tea and upon enquiring the owner went onto source it. The cafe is decorated tastefully and the atmosphere is very comfortable. I love it here!
My boyfriend and I chose to visit this restaurant for the first time on my birthday to enjoy a nice breakfast before the rest of the day, and we had a delightful experience! The staff were fantastic, the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. The owner was lovely and even treated us to complimentary desserts for my birthday. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again!
I stumbled across Surbeanton by accident when I got a bit lost on the way somewhere else with a friend... and we've never been so glad of getting lost. Excellent coffee, the best cherry bakewell tart I've ever had, lovely atmosphere and really friendly service. It is frustrating that they charge an additional 30-50p for alternative milk. The latte is also quite pricey. I purchased a croissant there once and was not impressed. When paying over £2 for a pastry, one would expect better quality. I suggest buying one from Sainsbury's across the road instead next time.
My son has been talking about this place non-stop, so we finally decided to try Surbeanton for a late breakfast. He was right! The vegan breakfast was absolutely delicious and the service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's clear that they truly care about their food and drinks here. Thank you!
The staff are always friendly and really have a passion for what they do! A very aesthetically pleasing cafe. The food is always beautifully presented, even when you just order beans on toast! Can't recommend this place enough, love love love

Fabulous and well priced light lunch. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. we ate here on the recommendation of my older daughter and were thrilled at this experience
