The worst altitude restaurant I've ever seen, and yet I've tested dozens of stations! we arrived at 5 for a place on the terrace but while reserved we were invited to wait at the entrance for a table in the room, either. from there, a waitress cheers us because we occupied the passage while she had much of what to circulate. Then the boss takes us coldly to our place and puts a lead to take the order while allowing for disparaging comments when we dare ask a question. the dishes, correct, arrive after 30 minutes. When I pay I allow myself to tell the staff that the manager is just unbreakable, from there his wife springs from behind his bar and tells me "you only have to do the same job 12 h...
In the height of the ski season, at midday, right next to the ski schools and cable cars, you are going to get busy..... Fortunately, we arrived early, before everyone descended the pistes for lunch. Our mains were served quickly and the food portions were generous and tasted good. The team then got overwhelmed by more people coming for lunch to a point they were refusing custom even when they had free tables. Maybe an off day, but certainly lacked staff on this visit. Four people wasn't enough.
Rude and ignorant staff, this restaurant does not deserve to be in this prime position on the slopes of St Gervais. Why have we lost a restaurant like Chez La Tante and this place remains. If you want to run a decent restaurant employ sufficient people to work in it at busy times- in both the restaurant and snack bar. It is pretty obvious when the busy times will be ie school holidays- surely you can staff up with students at that time.
This is a restaurant by the cable car and shuttle bus stop. The outside deck is in sunshine for most of the day and the inside is warm and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and the food is very good. The plat de jour is always good value and their coffee is second to none. Busy at peak times but worth it.

At first, we hesitated to settle on the terrace in view of the waitress' eyes. fortunately the atmosphere quickly improved after choosing a dish on the map. As there were not many proposals, the choice was quickly made! fortunately we didn't regret it then. well-stocked flats and the correct final note,
Five euro 30 for a Grand Creme served in a paper cup??? That is really taking the p--s. We let them clear the tray themselves for that money. Also my friend had the worst vegetable soup she has ever eaten, and that cost 14 euro. We will not be going there again.
because of its location, this restaurant seems to work. the terrace is well exposed. The dishes are correct even if a little expensive for what you eat. the negative point is the poor service. or is the friendliness?and the smile?

Good cooking. friendly and fast staff in the service. pleasant lunch break for the meal break. long chairs available, very appreciable!
