the outside looks somewhat incessant, but inside the beautiful old bars of the bar dining area with a large steinkamine. Outside there is a terrace where once cliffs came from the medieval road. I ate here twice and on both ocasions had a pleasant one. meal for a reasonable price. service is fast freendly, the owner lived in london for many years so speaks excellent English. the selection of draw-in is a joy for lovers and they can order quality wines from the bottle carafe of different sizes. I'm sure I'll go back to check the opening hours! and on Fridays and weekends make sure they book, even on a Monday evening I have the only table on the terrace.
We booked the wine tasting course which is held on a Monday afternoon through the summer season and enjoyed the experience very much. Organised by the owners and a local wine tasting expert we learnt so much, lots of laughs and clear explanations on wine tasting and using your nose. A great experience that we would recommend to anyone who wants to learn more about the wine they drink. There is no selling of wines and the course doesn't leave you feeling intimidated and snobbery of wine tasting has been removed.Well done to the owners for organising such a great event, our family enjoyed taking part very much.Di and Dave
On arrival we were greeted warmly and were able to choose are table. We were offered an aperitif and with it we were given some wasabi flavoured crisps which were very tasty. We chose different starters but both were well presented and the smoked salmon...with a dill dressing was superb. For main course I chose the fillets of Quail and my guest chose the Red Mullet with black rice . All was well presented ,cooked and enjoyed. The plate of cheese contained a blue cheese,a tomme from the locality and a Camembert . We celebrated with a good bottle of Saumer Champigny 2014. A memorable evening was enjoyed by both of us.

Finding a place where you can enjoy a fine dinner with you wife and father in law AND where 3 kids like the food too and enjoy themselves isn't an easy task. Here at Relais du Facteur they have found the balance: a wonderful 3 course diner with great wine pairing and a library/toys room where the kids can play between courses. Nice goat cheese in crust as starter and delicious dove as main course. For the kids a 7 euro (!) menu with excellent steak and fries, lemonade and ice cream. Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices to finish off. Worth a detour
Visited early lunchtime. Lovely and authentic surroundings with friendly ambience. The service was fantastic and bilingual with excellent English to assist our French. The food was lovely and the bill a pleasant surprise. Definitely a restaurant we will return to.
a quick lunch in this friendly auberge was a joy. simple, but tasty hors d’œuvre. grilled steak with fries that are finished with a pear crunch. all well and apart from the pommes(sham) everything cooked at home.
A warm and friendly welcome from the bilingual owners. The food and wine were good, particularly the choucroute/fish speciality. Well worth a visit
