The place is of sumptuous beauty. I loved this very technical golf, not easy but of great beauty. The hotel is mostly spa-focused so there were very few people on the course and we spent very good moments in this beautifully landscaped green countryside. Although greens are not perfect (it seems that golf is being redesigned), they are technical and have interesting difficulties. Anyway, I got A-do-ré! The hotel is also undergoing a little youthful stroke. The upper floors have already been rebuilt and gradually, all the rooms will be restored to the taste of the day. Our bathroom was a bit old-fashioned, the carpet more quite trendy and the balcony painting shattered, the bed on the other h...
Excellent price. The restaurant is really worth it, I was able to taste several of their dishes on different days and I was never disappointed. The staff is pleasant and of course it makes all the difference especially in this type of hotel. My room was impeccable, the cleaning was done every day, I had a great view, I enjoyed a lot late night hearing the cabbages and not having too much light pollution allows to see the sky well, which does not look but is a certain luxury when you come from Paris for example. Breakfast as everyone has already said it is excellent, with a perfect view of diving on hotel lands and well beyond... At the level of the swimming pool some jets did not work the te...
Hotel staff, very friendly and attentive, very hearty breakfasts with a huge choice of food. Lunch and evening meals are delicious and refined. The dining room has a glass bay with an incredible and unbeatable view of the golf course. Spacious but very demoded rooms. Spa very disappointing. Water from the cold pool, very noisy place, no rest room after the treatment and no tisanerie or water point to desaltify. Cold and barely friendly manager. We are really very disappointed with our 4-day stay at the Spa du Golf des Dryades because we were unable to rejuvenate with the serenity we are looking for in these places dedicated to well-being.
Dreadful greens, bunkers full of weeds and tees with more sand than grass. Accepting that it's been dry for weeks but that doesn't stop greenstaff working hard to maintain certain levels. There are much better condition courses within an hour. Try Porcelaine near Limoges and Sainte Agathe at Montlucon. Maybe we should have been offered a discount for the poor condition?
For the hotel part, nothing to say. Everything is perfect, accommodation and restoration. On the other hand, the bad golf experience ruined our stay. We were told on the spot that the golf had gone 9 holes whose state still seems to deteriorate with greens and bunkers in perdition. Means and skills do not seem to fit such a beautiful set.
Breakfast with panoramic view and restaurant overlooking the golf and the countryside at a loss of sight. Nice room with balcony. The spa requires some renovation and repair work but nevertheless remains very pleasant.
Another beautiful ancient hotel that France has to offer! Also stayed here during the Tour de France with 2 other teams. Very large hotel with spa but we didn’t have time to visit, a pity!!
The view of the valley is superb.... The brunch should offer more local products such as berrichon paste, potato galette, Berry lentils....
