This restaurant is attached to a very pretty hotel they are very French so if you don 't speak French you might want to have a practice a few essential words!! ... they do however have the menu in English! .... you are in France so I don 't see this as a negative but just be prepared to do a lot of hand actions to explain! (I see one review moaning about them not speaking English which I think is so ridiculous) We were in a large group so was asked either to pre order in the morning OR minimise one of the menus although this was a bit difficult we did it and understood as they don 't want to compromise on the standard but getting 16 different dinners out at the same time along with a whole r...
We went on a Friday night and found we could only order from a set menu put in place for a large grop two choices for entree, main and desert. The waiter looked put out to have us there, and was reluctant to use English, although he did seem to speak it well. The food was nice, but we bought an expensive local wine which we where dissapointed with. Overall we would't recommend it for the price we paid.
I booked here for the Easter Monday dinner and it was a disappointment. The appetizer was interesting but the entrée, lamb, had been pre-cooked and I believe it had a visit to the microwave before being served to me in a bed of gravy. Very reminiscent of meals served to me at school and not worth the money. On the good side the desert, which was a strawberry soups was interesting, but not great/
Shown to table. Good modern décor. Restaurant less than half full. Waited 30 minutes without acknowledgement, water, menu, or offer of aperitif. Departed in disgust. I wonder what the food would have been like.
We went with my family went the restaurant just opened since two months. We liked the food and great assortment of wine, we certainly did like the dessert, but there was still room for improvement.
Excellent table. Careful service. In a refined setting, decoration of very good taste. To be highly recommended. We stayed there a week early August. What a relaxation! Bravo to the whole team!
The restaurant was pretty however the food was mediocre and overpriced. We were also overcharged and they did not graciously apologise
Overall this hotel offers poor value for money. Rooms are quite tired and shabby, food is mediocre and customer service is lacking.
Restaurant at the Top Strawberry dessert, for the Discovery Menu was delicious!!
