We went to this restaurant because it was recommended in books and online. Unfortunately we faced a disappointment with our pizza margherita and entrecote steak. It felt like they were made in a rush - as they indeed were judging by the crowd and full restaurant, but that shouldn't show on the plate. The entrecote was according to my date "the worst he'd ever come across" - he ordered it medium and got it plain raw. My pizza dough was raw and frankly could have tasted like anything out of a freezer. We also had to struggle with our knives and the cutting. If ever you get hunger pangs in Old Nice while exploring flower fruit market during the day or wandering through Old Nice at night, this should be on your bucket list. Probably the food and restaurant is Iconic status as all of Holywood has...been here. DeNiro Sinatra Stallone etc. Inside is cool with aircon if outside is trop chaude. Amazing artworks hang on the walls from famous Nice artists from 60's 70's and 80's Ceasar, Arman, Ben, etc. Raymond the proprietor has seen it all.
Lovely food and service!!! Highly recommend! Great House Wine. Were eating there almost every night when in Nice. But better book yourself a table and be ready for some waiting time for your food (around 30min for mains) but its totally worth it!

The food is good, the service is efficient and it is a really nice place to go for lunch when you visit the area. Nothing fancy or innovative, but traditional good food without being robbed when the bill arrives.
Had the special, which was fillet of sea bream, on mashed potatoes, and our party also had the salmon. Both delicious. Also had profiteroles and the creme brulee between us. Recommend all! Great spot.
We came here for a family meal. The food is decent but nothing special. The waitress was particularly unpleasant with everyone. There are better restaurants in Nice, would not recommend.
Too many people, average food, we were ignored two times for 1 hour, finish dinner at 11:00 because the waitress were busy with other guests who came later than us.

Not very well executed. Some dishes ok (rabbit, beef stew, vongole). Others were pretty terrible - pizza was burned, twice. I'd find somewhere else.
Wait staff is rude. Avoid this place! Try to rack up your bill and order more than you want. Eventually we just left.
