traditional medieval restaurant with zoumba in sound background. I should've been suspicious. We sit inside next to a cardboard. Forest course, course...The cassoulet made me sleep on the wheel and yet the duck was not fat. short a survivor of the fatal accident advises you this subway type kitchen and his friends, ... if I loved you take the crazy idea of trying. You are asked if the dish is in formula or on the map. I took formula and then I said politely stop. Conciliabules at the counter and on the invoice .... formula with dessert! Here's a beautiful spirit, beautiful kitchen.
at the entrance the first room is dark and not very engaging but we had the chance to be able to eat in the patio and there the frame is quite different. we were safe from the wind that was blowing on the terrace in front while being outside. The waitress was listening and smiling despite the number of customers. It is not about gastronomy but simple dishes, well presented and good. The kitchen team was a little "in the juice" at the end of service but only because of customers who changed their orders during service!!!! not top for the staff!
We are regular visitors to Mirepoix, having a holiday home nearby. Le Saint Maurice has become our regular choice at the end of our hour drive from Calais. Always open, the ‘Menu’ choices are very good and excellent value. The fish is perfectly cooked,...confit duck good and chips among the best! The one thing I can’t recommend is the cassoulet- it won’t put Castelnaudry out of business. They also welcome our Westies and are always friendly. The relatively new terrace at the back is a welcome addition in summer.
We were here late in March. Looking for a nice restaurant out of season can be disheartening. This is a gem. They work all day and evening till The food was delicious. We had the euro evening menu. Foie gras for starters, delicious,...followed by cod with dauphinoise potatoes. Yum. My husband had the fillet of pork. Very good also. I recommend this restaurant to all.

We enjoyed several meals at Le Saint Maurice during a day stay. The food isn’t fancy just good bistro faire with fresh ingredients and good portions. Service was very good after a couple meals there the servers recognized us and made us...feel very welcome. They indulged our simple French skills with humor and grace. Would happily return.
restaurant under the nice halls.Despite a small couac on the reservation, the staff is nice, the dishes are very good and well presented ... it is really bad and the price is very correct menu at 22€ flat entrance dessert
We ate a crêpe and an ice in the middle of the summer, it was correct without more. But the service. When you work in tourism, the least thing is to be kind and smiling.
Great, went 3 times here and never disappointed. Rissoto was good , salade de chefre chaud, the burger also. Nice and friendly staf. Tankx for the lovely evenings
