I came here once to see a world cup game on their terrace (Mexico vs Brazil). It wasn't too shabby. I just thought they were a bit lacking in the screens department. On the first floor they have pool tables and a screen above the bar and upstairs they have the mini terrace and about 3 screens indoor. Service is fast though and their sangria was very strong. I ordered the peach flavour in a pitcher to share. Cash only and they don't have any food so they let you bring in your own. However they also don't serve that many drink options but don't let you bring in any.
My friends and I unexpectedly discovered this restaurant after walking for 25 minutes from our hotel, and it was definitely worth the trek. We ended up returning both nights we were in Montreal. The drinks were surprisingly affordable compared to what we're used to back home, and Lindsay, the bartender, was incredibly friendly. We were thrilled to see her again on our second night, which added to our overall enjoyment. We highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a fun night out with friends!
A dive bar with a good vibe. It has some pool tables (for $1 a game) and some snack vending machines (peanuts, cashews, stuff like that). Prices are not bad as beer selection is ok. The staff is quite friendly. Overall a good experience, I would recommend it for a casual night out with friends, to grab some drinks and play a couple of games of pool.
Great place every day of the week! If you love pool, they have many tables. Very decent prices for drinks and a good selection of beer on tap. Friendly staff with two floors to choose from each with a different mood. And HUGE! Ideal for groups or even solos. My fav MTL experience! Very recommended.
A true dive bar. While the space itself is not too bad (the upstairs has a nice outdoor area) the experience can be quite unusual. Frappe seems to pride itself on letting in minors and drug use in the building is not uncommon. On the upside they do have a number of well maintained pool tables.
Awesome bar. It's very large, spread across two floors with a terrace as well. If you see a line outside don't be intimidated because it usually moves along fast enough. Prices are fair. Didn't try the food yet. Plenty of pub games to play from billiards to darts. Service was great as well.
Great spots to grab a drink when visiting St-Laurent. It's a modest venue featuring two billiard tables and poker machines.
The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is excellent, especially in the second section. The selection is impressive.
