We always try to find an Indian Restaurant when we are on holiday, and The Taj was the only one listed in Menton.Half a soggy papad each was just the start. Onion Barji was quite good but downhill from there on. My wife had Aubergine curry which came as a dark green mush which looked and tasted exactly like my Prawn Curry sauce. One of the worst Indian restaurants we have visited. 6 Euros for small bottle of Kingfisher. Nan Bread both small and insubstantial.
A service to the top! The devers are very smiling and pleasant! For dishes I took a grilled gamba dish served with rice. Bringing rice a little light, my husband took a curry of shrimp, as light in portion but very good ', if it's a little hunger it's all right but otherwise I found the small portions for me who used to eat Indian! But the sevice catches everything!
Friendly meal with friends, the service was very good, fast and very friendly servers. I took a chicken vindaloo and it was very good, small flat on the quantity, I find that there is a bit missing to be satisfied.. Little music and decor that reminds of the indian. So I advise you to go there to change our daily food... there's for everyone, spruce and non-spicy.
Very nice discovery, Indian restaurant with a wide choice of specialties, very good, their naan are delicious and especially we see that it is fresh and cooked on site, anyway it is not frozen! Traditional Indian cuisine with a good quality price ratio. A lot of card choices. There is a menu at 28 € in the evening, which becomes very rare on Menton. Vin rosé bio cru classified shawraau Roubine cuvée prestige excellent at correct price.
Very good kitchen in a nice setting. The in-room team is very warm and very smiling and the service is fast. Tony A few weeks later... I'm only coming back to Tony... but the food is always as good.
Fantastic service and cosy ambience. The food was super tasteful (we are 5 vegetarians) and service fast. Also the young people on our table were happy and satisfied.
