The restaurant is part of the Hotel de France where we stayed the night. It offers a good range of traditional French cooking with a choice of 2 menus or al la carte. All courses were well presented and well cooked. The steak in particular was extremely good. A slight disappointment was the lack of vegetables to accompany the main courses. The wine list was extensive, but being Burgundy, not cheap. Service was very efficient, friendly and attentive.
With a group of friends, we stayed at the Hotel de France in Beaune and had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Tast'Vin. The food served in the dìner, cooked with fresh products, was very good in the general opinion with beautiful combinations of tastes. The waiter was very nice and good advice for the wines. The rooms are functional and very clean. Also noteworthy: we were very well received with a true sense of service to customers.
We only stopped in for coffee, but it was flavorsome and excellent. Nice staff, the food others were being served looked very good. Unfortunately we only found it the day before we left while organising our train ticket to Paris. We would definitely have eaten there had we stayed another night.
We had lunch at this restaurant just opposite the railway station. We were seven people and tried four different courses. Everybody was happy, either they had boef borgogne, tartar, risotto or cheeseburger! We had to wait for the food, but with nice wines in our glases, who cares? Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The hotel only opens at the time of check-in 15h. The hotelier welcomed us warmly. The rooms are medium size with the necessary for a short stay. Close to the centre on foot. About 10 minutes. Simple, easy and efficient
Good quality food and friendly service. Choice of two menus at reasonable prices (26 or 40 for three courses). Good selection of local wine. Does take quite some time between courses,
The bedding was good but the room below what I expected when I saw the pictures. The bathroom needs a new shot. The trains didn't disturb us
