We very very disappointed by the attitude taken by the staff here. My wife visited the day before to make a reservation for the following day. all done in French, the following day when we arrived we were shown to a non reserved table, which was to small for the four of us and my granddaughter. Although there was a table for 5 reserved at the front of the restaurant. My son in law did heard a comment about these British people. I am throughly disappointed by this attitude, As I would hate to think that the French would get this reception when visiting Scotland. In a very touristy village like Vézelay, we found the right price, around €50-55 for 2 main courses desserts coffees and a beer) The restaurant is really not big, reservations are strongly recommended. We had a dog, all the places on the terrace were reserved but we were allowed to eat inside, we thank them for that. The manager seems rough and unfriendly at first glance, but that's her way of being and is not unpleasant at all. The dishes were good, but we found the plates a little light.
