We ordered the $17 brisket meal, which was quite an experience. It consisted of four tough, square pieces of meat served over mashed potatoes and accompanied by some crispy Brussels sprouts. Unfortunately, we couldn't finish it and didn't even take the leftovers with us, which was disappointing since our waitress had praised it. The pimento cheese bites also left much to be desired; they were still a bit cold inside and quite salty. While ranch dressing helped, we also ended up leaving some of those behind. We decided to enjoy a leisurely meal and arrived right before they opened at noon, joining nearly eight others who were also waiting to be seated. We opted for the outdoor seating area, which was a fantastic choice. The service was quick and exceptional. The outdoor section is pet-friendly, and the servers even brought our dogs a bucket of water, which I thought was a nice touch. My family loves this place! There's always something that everyone wants to eat. My favorite appetizer is the charcuterie board that includes all the different kinds of meats that they have, which is excellent! Otherwise, I usually always get the pork schnitzel served over mashed potatoes, which technically isn't on the menu anymore because they have a sandwich but I ask and they always make it for me. I absolutely loved the French onion dip; I just wish there was more of it and fewer chips. I also appreciated that the outdoor area is dog-friendly! There were plenty of beer options to choose from, which was great. Unfortunately, our food arrived cold, which really dampened our otherwise enjoyable experience. The fries were rubbery and just not good at all. I couldn't even finish my meal.
Nice lil spot to grab a quick brew and yummy food. I tried the wings and the smokehouse meatloaf which were amazing. My friend tried the fish and chips, I?m not a fan of the thick battered fish, but my friend enjoyed it. I also tried their root beer whichwas delicious and refreshing. Charming venue with an adorable theme! I tried the smoked turkey sandwich, and it was fantastic! Unfortunately, my first beer choice was unavailable, but my second option turned out to be quite good. The service was excellent. I was interested in purchasing a shirt, but the sizing wasn't quite right. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
Really good beer, appetizers, and burgers. Everything we tried was better than we initially expected it to be. It was a first for me to have nachos with house chips instead instead of tortilla chips but it honestly worked well. The grilled cheese sandwich at LRB was excellent as always, although it could have used a bit more pimento cheese. My husband enjoyed the brisket, which was fantastic. We also ordered the poutine, and it never disappoints!
