The restaurant had a pleasant ambiance and family-friendly decor. The service was efficient, although it seemed a bit overwhelmed by the number of customers. For starters, my girlfriend and I shared the Appetizer Assortment Platter. She ordered the Thai Coconut Seafood Curry, while I opted for the Crispy Chicken with Beef Shrimp. As we waited, we could smell the enticing aroma of sizzling dishes being served to other tables. While hunger-inducing, we left the restaurant smelling like Thai food as well. Great Little Place. The food at this place is better than the garden variety thai/viet restaurant. The dishes I've really enjoyed have been: Pad Thai, Beef with Mixed Vegetables, Coconut Curry Shrimp, Peanut Chicken. Many of the dishes are luten free so if you are celiac or sensitive to gluten you can still have a good experience. <br/ <br/ The portion size for lemon grass is quite good. 2 takeout dishes and rice are able to feed my family of 4 for a dinner which means we are dining for around 20$. I highly recommend this restaurant for its food. Totally delicious, plentiful, economical, and exotic.However, do not expect to be waited on hand and foot. The wait staff is borderline polite, certainly not jovial. They tend to thrust the plates and utensils at the diners, and at best they come by once during the meal with a curt 'everything going alright here? LOVE this place. I'm here all the time. Always very busy. Waiting area for a table is awful/nonexistent though. I agree with other reviews regarding the service. Friendly and warm service is definitely not their forte but have never had a rude server. Food is always fast to come out and has never disappointed. The peanut sauce is amazing! I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and it's all excellent. The food makes up for what's lacking in the service department. Have to chase someone down for my bill each time. A little annoying considering they're always lined up out the door and you think they'd want to turn tables over quickly. Regardless, always highly recommend.
Wonderful meal. I have cravings for many of the menu items at this restaurant. I absolutely love the coconut curry chicken.I have it with plain chicken #50) and my husband hs it breaded #101) The sauceis made with the perfect amount of spice. I always have chicken satay with peanut sauce which is very good. The best soup I have ever tasted is also at this place. Bangcock soup is fantastic with sweet and spicy flavours blending perfectly in your mouth. I will order it for my lunch the day after going to this place. Lemongrass offers a variety of gluten free options and has excellent service. The staff was accommodating in modifying my selections to accommodate my onion sensitivity. All dishes are made to order with fresh ingredients. A standout dish was the coconut curry seafood, which I usually don't enjoy but instantly became a favorite. The shrimp wrap was delicious, and I also enjoyed a refreshing mango drink. Overall, the food, service, and prices at Lemongrass were outstanding.
Not Good. This restaurant has one dish I enjoy ordering (Bami Goreng). However, the pad thai and pho are not good at all. The wait staff are snobs and the overwhelming crowd of 'Thai Food Newbies' at the door is annoying. For authentic Viet/Thai food, try Ben Tanh instead. Despite these issues, I still like the Bami Goreng and will order it occasionally.
Best lunch ever!!!!. I eat here all the time for lunch.The service is quick and friendly and you get a great deal of food for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a great tasting lunch at a good price that will still fit into your busy work schedule!!!!!!
This is a family favourite. Although it is small and you cannot make a reservation, the quaint atmosphere, fast service and great food makes up for the wait. I almost always get the seafood soup and it has never let me down!
