This charming family-owned Italian restaurant and pizzeria is a fantastic find, conveniently located near Cristina's Epicure, Rothman's Steakhouse, and Hunter Restaurant. The complimentary garlic breadsticks with marinara sauce were delightful. For appetizers, we ordered the arancini balls and bruschetta—both were absolutely perfect. I dare say the arancini balls might even outshine those we've had in Tuscany. We are long-time customers of Leones, and I can confidently say that this isn’t just a pizzeria; it's a New York City-style restaurant offering traditional Italian dishes. Without a doubt, it's the best restaurant in the Oyster Bay-East Norwich area. As soon as you walk in, Frank, Anna, and Victoria greet you like family. I stopped in for a late lunch slice of pizza, which was decent. However, while I was waiting for my slice to be heated, the manager—at least I assume that’s who it was—began discussing politics and sharing some very controversial opinions. We have a family member with kidney disease, and one of the dietary restrictions is avoiding tomatoes. When we ask for a light sauce, we don’t mean drenched in sauce! On top of that, we ordered the rice ball bites, which were supposed to come with four per order, but we only received three!
