There are other small restaurants on this road which winds the old route through to Grasse. But they were all closed, thinking that the trade was done. Pleasant smiles to us, dust-stained travellers. Easy parking in a spacous carpark. The restaurant 's name comes from the name of an unusual, evergreen shrub, right outside the door. Considering it was the off-season, we were surprised to see most of the tables on the paved terrace were occupied. I chose roasted Caille, which the lovely waitress explained was 'quail ', with divine wild mushrooms and what my farmer dad used to call pig pototoes; the delicious little ones. [16.50 Euros].
