Les Arcades - Tisch reservieren

We seek out local food and wine specialities when travelling, and Les Arcades makes great use of what's available in the region. One hard-working waitress appeared to be running all the tables on the evening of our visit, but we were meeting French-based friends for the first time in two years so hardly noticed any delays in the speed of service.Les Arcades is just off the main square in Arbois but hides behind a discreet entrance, and is well worth discovering. The menu we chose offered good choice and excellent value. Jura wines can be an acquired taste. We've been acquiring it for years, but an extensive list also had plenty more to choose from. We will certainly be back.

I reserved a table a few hours before dinner on a Friday. I got the menu très terroir which was €32 (normally €27 but I got the foie gras) and a glass of vin de paille to go with it. It was amazing. The foie gras was excellent. The main course and the dessert were very good too, but not that great. They had a good selection of wine of course as well.

We spent a very enjoyable evening at Les Arcades. We sat outside in the courtyard, enjoyed good service from friendly staff, and good local food. The quality is good, and the flavours were tasty. The cremant was also very good.

Trout in Vin Jaune sauce and delicious poultry followed by crème brûlée au vin Jaune: try them all, they are worth the stop.

Great entry and dessert. Main course had too much sauce for the fish as well as the specialty sausage. Very good service
