When we arrived, it was quiet, as it was between 2 and 3 pm, after our excursion to see Ste Anne de Beaupre Basilica. The waitress was very friendly and did her best to serve us in English. I had the chicken quesadilla. The flavours were out of this world, and is definitely on our list of places to go to again when we go back (or drive through). Thoroughly enjoyed. I haven't had a great quesadilla anywhere since.
This restaurant was recommended to us by the man at the front desk of our motel and it did not disappoint. I had the spaghetti Bolognese and my boyfriend had the poutine italienne and we both absolutely loved our meals. Great portions and the service was beyond friendly. My boyfriend can't speak French and our waitress made sure to speak to him in English as best she could.
Wonderful table d'hôte menu (I had the crêpe forestière) at very reasonable prices. Casual restaurant with very good service and interesting food choices. It is a bring-your-own wine restaurant - but you can buy a bottle at the gas station (!) across the road (by the way, they were offering a surprisingly good array). I have been to this restaurant three times and loved it.
If you arrive before 6 they have a great choice for Special of the Days. My husband is lactose intolerant and they went out of their way for him. Food presentation was beautiful. The first night we had the special and the 2nd night we went all out for the Valentines Special (Feb. 13). We took a day trek from Quebec City to Sainte Anne de Beaupré and stopped here for lunch. Fortunately, we did not weigh the negative reviews of Les Artistes too heavily. The restaurant is charming, the service is friendly, and the crêpes were delicious. If you appreciate great diner food and coffee you will love Les Artistes.
We almost missed this little restaurant - and what a tragedy that would have been. The service was so great, as was the food. Unusual crepes and treats, but we liked the lunch menu with the ground steak the fish, and the tasty fresh vegetables. The food is well seasoned. Small, friendly, and yummy!
Would not recommend this restaurant. The food was good but the employees/owners were beyond rude and extremely aggressive towards my 93 year old father. The way they treat their customers is a very good indication of why their restaurant was empty during peak tourist season.

Wonderful local food for the money. Very homey restaurant. Staff is very friendly and service is quick! Can't go wrong. Spaghetti was delicious and I don't usually get that sort of thing. So worth it.
