This restaurant was recommended to us by the man at the front desk of our motel and it did not disappoint. I had the spaghetti Bolognese and my boyfriend had the poutine italienne and we both absolutely loved our meals. Great portions and the service was beyond friendly. My boyfriend can't speak French and our waitress made sure to speak to him in English as best she could.
We took a day trek from Quebec City to Sainte Anne de Beaupré and stopped here for lunch. Fortunately, we did not weigh the negative reviews of Les Artistes too heavily. The restaurant is charming, the service is friendly, and the crêpes were delicious. If you appreciate great diner food and coffee you will love Les Artistes.
We almost missed this little restaurant - and what a tragedy that would have been. The service was so great, as was the food. Unusual crepes and treats, but we liked the lunch menu with the ground steak the fish, and the tasty fresh vegetables. The food is well seasoned. Small, friendly, and yummy!
Would not recommend this restaurant. The food was good but the employees/owners were beyond rude and extremely aggressive towards my 93 year old father. The way they treat their customers is a very good indication of why their restaurant was empty during peak tourist season.
