My son and I finished a 4-mile hike in Calanques around 3 pm feeling hungry only to find out that all other restaurants in the area were closed after lunch until 7 pm. One of of the four new owners, Lou, a 16-hour-a-day-hard-working, kind and mesmerizingly radiant young lady graciously arranged with the chef to cook for us — something that never happened to me before. From crossing to Cassis for 3 days, and after a bad experience in a restaurant bordering the port, I decided to get away from a few hundred meters from the centre and landed in this establishment. Well, everything was perfect from the beginning to the end! A warm and friendly welcome, a succulent cuisine, a magnificent view of the sea (the restaurant is located by the beach)... During the evening, the cook spends several times discussing with the guests and ensuring that they are satisfied with his dishes. DO NOT LOUPER , we fell in this restaurant located in Bestouan by chance and we discovered a super homemade cuisine with market products served by a great team. Special mention to the boss for his welcome and friendliness. Not to be confused with the restaurant on the beach. After the inguines with delicious clams, we will return to test the bawls poke at noon.
Nicely surprised by the quality of the welcome, really worthy of a starred restaurant. Madame is sommelier... good selection of wines, bravo! In the plate, still bravo, fine and tasteful! This restaurant had been recommended by our host. A great welcome by the boss and the team, the dishes were delicious and very generous, especially the palourdes. A good address if you're in the corner!
