Les Copains D’abord

The first time I visited Copains was in August 2023, and the place was overrun with bees all over the exposed patisserie. The staff didn’t see any problem and continued to push the food. I visited again in June 2024 and thankfully there were no insects to be seen, although the patisserie is still exposed. Copains is a bit more expensive than other gluten free boulangeries in Paris. I got an eclair for €7 which tasted good, but perhaps not €7 good. My only other gripe with Copains is that the staff are very pushy. A very nice place! A good alternative for bread lovers who are not gluten freinds. However the price range is more than 2x what you would expect. The juices are also wayyyy overpriced especially considering they aren’t freshly pressed and a lot of the benefits disappear after half an hour in the fridge. The staff is very friendly also helpful, And they know their bread!

Young man working on afternoon of 24/6 was amazing, so helpful and kind! Great gluten free food, ate there most days of our trip.
