Seemed okay at first- english menus provided. I eat fish but not meat so ordered a cod dish that only mentioned vegetables as a side. Dish came with bits of ham and bacon throughout and fish was of poor quality; obviously frozen and poorly cooked....They did remove the fish from the meat and bring it back with potatoes but was so bad I didn’t eat any of it but was of course still charged for the full plate. My husband enjoyed his beef. Wine pairings good and reasonably priced but would not recommended for vegetarians.
Was recommended by our apartment owners and we came for lunch. The restaurant decor is nice and cost. The service was pleasant. Both of us had duck liver as starters to share and we ordered grilled scallop and duck breast as mains. Food display was...lovely. The portion is large by French standards and we had a full and satisfying meal. The bread basket is generous with whole pieces of mini breads. Price is a bit on the high side but the portion is large and this is the city center area after all.
We stayed in Nice for 5 days and ate dinner here 3 times over the week. Really great place, friendly, professional staff, excellent service throughout each visit. The menu is lovely and every meal we had was excellent, the fillet steak and truffle potatoes was...a favourite! Each dish has a recommended wine to accompany it (all very good) and the price is reasonable. The restaurant is away from the main crowds and therefore more relaxed and intimate even in July. Definitely recommend a visit!
We discovered this place by coincidence. It was on the sunny side of a little park. The personal was very friendly and talkative. We had a burger and a menu of the day. Everything was great, but my entrecôte was a bit to dry. After...I told that to the waiter he immediately exchanged it for a dish of my choice (fish filet). The fish was extremely delicious. The dessert was fantastic! We would like to come here again. Just great!
