We stayed here for a family wedding last week. We paid 22 euros for a 'Chinese buffet ' however we were really disappointed with the quality and quantity of the food. A strange noodle soup to start, a plateful of salad which was actually nice then we queued up to be served a vegetable rice , pork curry, belly pork and a chicken portion. The problem we had was that the portions were very small, the one piece of chicken we were served was so minute it was virtually non existent. I have never saw such a small piece of chicken on the bone before! Imagine the amount of chicken you would find on a wing but half that amount!! Every now and then, especially in beautiful southern France, you run across one of those unique gems you wish you would have discovered years ago. Such is L’Es Pratx in Ginestas. With a beautiful chateau to stay in and glorious food prepared by real professionals, L’Es Pratx operates as a restaurant and venue for weddings and music events. We have been there many times have come to know the owners, Sasha and Tim, and their very friendly staff. Weather it has been for an outdoor summer jazz concert in the courtyard with food under the stars, or a bubbly New Years Eve event with music and a dinner in the cave – this place just can’t be missed. 5 stars out of 5.
The title says it all, we regularly go for dinner at l 'Es Pratx, where we love the food the chef proposes, the quality of the food 's just perfect, as well as the choice of music. We always try to make time to go to the live concerts to enjoy the great ambiance and to relax after a busy week while we 're well taken care of by the lovely waitresses. We 're already looking forward to the flamenco concert on saturday the 14th!! Thanks a million...
Maybe because of Corona time they had only 2 options to choose. A menu for 39 and 1 for 46 euros. The choice of food was limited because of that. The building and atmosphere is very nice, but still this was not our favourite place in the surrounding. Seems to be an english owner and a wedding place for many english couples.
