Heard good things about Les Sisters and was excited to visit!! I 'm from the South and it can be hard to find good southern food around LA. It 's an average sized space with indoor seating and street parking. Bathrooms are available in the back. The vibe is Mardi Gras, with lots of New Orleans themed decor and purple/green paint. They put their Cajun twist on Southern dishes. I heard the fried chicken sandwich was the best so I had to try it for myself. Honestly, I think it did live up to the hype!! The sesame bun was was soft and buttery almost like Texas toast, with lettuce, tomato, and slaw. The slaw was a little too runny for my liking but altogether it tasted good. The chicken was crisp...
This gem has been around since the mid 80s and has gone through a lot. As you walk in, take the time to read the many news articles that adorn the wall to know more about their history. The restaurant only seats about 28 people. Les Sisters Southern Kitchen is a little from New Orleans in Chatsworth I've heard. Wanted to try this place for a while and I'm glad I did it! The staff is super friendly and offers great recommendations to eat. Sitting inside with funny Mardi Gras decorations can not be so large from a place to eat. Parking can arrive a bit challenging at the time of the day, but there are many street parking spaces in the residential area. We had the Smothered Pork Chop that came with rice and two sides (we chose the candied Yams Red Beans and Rice) that was super delicious and a must. We also had the Chicken Creole very delicious, and a complete plate of BBQ Ribs was just OK. A side order by Cajun Fritte...
If you're in the area and are looking for some nice fried chicken, stop by Les Sister'. The service was straightforward and kind, allowing me to sit wherever and answering any questions I had. I ordered the fried chicken with white meat, which came with Cajun fries; the server recommended this. The fries were fried very well and had no soggy texture to it, but the seasoning was a bit lacking with it being nice and spicy but not very flavorful. However, the fried chicken was both fried and seasoned perfectly! I've always had difficulty finding a great fried chicken place that doesn't server dry white meat pieces; Les Sisters' perfectly does it where the meat is nice and juicy but the outside... Amazing food, great service, we went in and KNEW the food would be great. And that's it! I highly recommend checking them out, their fried chicken is to die, and all their sides are phenomenal. Go hungry and leave so satisfied after making yourself embarrassed by making noises because it's just so damn good. I'll go back soon, you ruined me. Hopefully it helps! Have a nice rest of your day!

The best New Orleans style food I've ever had. Their jambalaya is my gold standard. The hot links are amazing with that brown sugar BBQ sauce. You can't beat this place for what they do.
