We had to wait for 20 mins to order - despite the fact that the terrace was only about 30% full. People all around who arrived after us having ordered and a good number had already started eating. After the first course we then waited around 35 mins for the main course to arrive. When it did it was missing the vegetables - 'coming' said the waitress without the slightest 'sorry to keep you waiting'. After at least 10 minutes only one portion instead of two arrived. Although the food (main course fish - dorade) was quite nice I found it hard to enjoy in the circumstances. After the meal the manager was understanding but of course that was too late
We have been to this restaurant a year ago (it is open around the Christmas break, while many others are closed), and we really enjoyed it. This time, it was a complete disaster. We specifically booked a table near the window to enjoy the view, but received one far from it. The menu has dramatically shrunk to become boring. They had their "Canadian weeks", which essentially means the chef uses marple syrup in every dish. The food was ok, but really nothing special. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional, we had to serve our wine ourselves, men were served before women, some knifes missing, etc. We will not come back.
The restaurant of this hotel is located on an extremely nice location. The terrace provides very nice views of the Swiss mountain range and parts of the lake. The terrace itself is big. The restaurant has large wi does with a lot of light. The menu is elaborated, the service is good, ax well as the food is. The meat is of excellent quality, and also the local speciality "legs filets de perche du lac". It is suitable for groups as well for couples or individuals. The restaurant stays open quite late. Only disadvantage is the price... quite expensive.
Die internationale Konferenz fand im Hotel statt, in dem sich das Restaurant befindet. Die Lage war ziemlich weit von vielen anderen Orten entfernt, mit Ausnahme der Veranstaltungsorte, die wir besuchen mussten, sodass die Wahl, in diesem Hotelrestaurant zu essen, offensichtlich war. Das Essen war durchschnittlich, aber nicht aufregend und manchmal gab es nur zwei Möglichkeiten. Allerdings waren die Preise für das, was serviert wurde, unverschämt. Das Personal war nicht besonders zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen.

The restaurant of the hotel might be new and the interieur is nice.I even can't say anything against the service, it was good.Buy I have to complain about the price and the food you get for it!I had an entrecote with fries and vegetables. Well. Kinda normal and nothing special. My meat was full of fat and verry thin. One side was nearly too much grilled and the other side looked like it didn't touch the pan.And the hole thing for only 38 CHF.
We spent two nights in the best western and enjoyed the good food of the restaurant and the very nice atmosphere and the friendly stuff.the presentation of the food and the taste compensate the high price and make it worthy to pay.we came for two dinners and were very satisfied.

Ich habe ein sehr gutes Abendessen im Restaurant des Arts des Best Western Hotels. Die Speisekarte war interessant, die Qualität des Essens gut genug und das einzige Problem war der weder freundliche noch effiziente Service.

One of the best burgers I've had, honestly. With Gruyere cheese and a special green sauce, that thing was great. Rest of things including breakfast ate average.
