The restaurant could be easily missed as it is just tucked away in a nondescript building across from the NH Zürich hotel. The restaurant is very nice. Service is so far above what is normal on Europe. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The menu is not large but the items they serve are top notch. We ordered the Horse steak. Most Americans do not eat horse meat.( for many people, horses are pets.) After reading several reviews, we thought why not? I can tell you it was AMAZING! Wow! It was so tasty. Der Service war sehr gut. Das Essen war ein Glücksfall. Gegrillte Garnelen waren ziemlich gut mit schönem gegrilltem Gemüse. Der Krabbencocktail war ungewöhnlich (kleine Garnelen mit Soße vermischt). Die Preise waren für Zürcher Verhältnisse angemessen.
Ich übernachte in einem nahegelegenen Hotel, gehe aber immer gerne raus. Das Personal war freundlich, das Essen war gut, aber der Service war etwas langsam und ich hatte auf ein zweites Bier gehofft, aber niemand kam. Aber ich würde zurückgehen.
It's not just the 5 star perfect menu (we had steak on a hot stone and pizza) that makes this place memorable. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff will make you definitely want to come back again.
