I ACTUALLY CAME UPON THIS ESTABLISHMENT, WHILE GRUB HUBBING and DECIDED to TRY IT for myself.... The service and set up, NO... NO... NO... im COMPLETELY TURNED OFF... U have to ORDER, PAY and TIP before having a seat... The PLACE to STAND and ORDER is CRAMPED... i EXPECT better service, ESPECIALLY for the price... I'll do THIS is IT or BIG DADDYS or a few other SOUL FOOD PLACES that are HANDS DOWN BETTER SPOTS before coming here again... the FOOD was OK... NO LIE the SMACKIN MAC was DELICIOUS so was the BBQ sauce for the RIBS... but the RIBS themselves were ok as was the CORN BREAD and LEMONADE... i also had CABBAGE that i DID NOT LIKE at ALL... NO EXCHANGES... ONCE U BUY its BOUGHT... THIS...
I tried this restaurant for the first time. Service was ok as it was Mother 's Day. The prices are excellent in comparison to similar restaurants. The food I purchased was good; however, the cornbread dressing was a little mushy. It probably needs less of something. Turkey wing was good. Online ordering was easy. I was confused about pickup because it was in a location where other patrons were waiting to order. I didn 't want to seem as if I was skipping the line. Perhaps online pick-up can simply be at the register, away from the waiting to order line. Overall, I would rate 4/5 and plan to return with my voracious husband.
My Sisters and i visited this restaurant today for lunch. We ordered ribs, fried/grilled catfish, fried/grilled pork chops, fried chicken, mac n cheese, okra, yams, dressing, deviled eggs, and strawberry banana pudding! EVERYTHING was amazing and delicious! We had the pleasure of dining at the bar with our Bartender/Server Yolanda; she was very accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and a kind soul ; She made sure we were good and checked on us regularly! We are impressed with her service and the hospitality shown to us all! Thank you Yolanda :
I visited on Wednesday night for dinner after work, and I had a fantastic meal! I ordered the smothered and fried pork chops, along with dressing and mac and cheese. The food was so delicious that I even took some sides home for lunch the next day. I sat at the bar, and Yolanda was my server—she was wonderful! My favorite drink is the blueberry lemonade mojito, and I ended up having two of them. This restaurant is definitely worth sharing with others!

I went to Lickety Split on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. The establishment was clean and quaint and there was plenty of seating even though they were quite busy. The menu items were easy and clear and I thoroughly enjoyed what I had. It was HOT in there but that had to be because it was hot outside, the windows were floor to ceiling and the people were bustling through. Let's crank up the AC next time! Overall I'd visit again!
Our friends brought us here and raved about the food. We decided to try it. Everything we tried was absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was excellent as well. Only complaint, it was extremely hot inside the restaurant. Not sure if the air conditioner wasn’t working. We will definitely patronize this establishment again and will be recommending it to our friends.

Incredible southern-style cuisine! The fried green tomatoes are absolutely delicious, and the homemade chicken tenders are to die for. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. Plus, there's a charming little bar with a fantastic music playlist. Overall, I’d rate the food a solid 5/5!
