Unfortunately, the service was terrible.We had a couple beers in other locations (we were 15 persons.) We had a reservation at this place in the evening.In the beginning the boss (shown in the picture) was really nice and funny. Suddenly, when we wanted to order the food, he began to threaten us (he wanted to kick us out).We had a discussion about our behavour but we could not find any disturbances".He told us we could lrave now or he could order our food.In the end, we paid the beers we drank and left.We ate at another restaraunt and will never return to this location.
Das Pub ist zwei geteilt. Der grössere der beiden Räume ist das Raucherabteil in dem sich auch die Liveband aufhält. Beim vorstellen des Unterhalters war die Lautsprecher so laut eingestellt, dass sich einige die Ohren zuhalten mussten! Personal war freundlich. Pub ist klein aber angenhm eingerichtet.
We ate here tonite and it was wonderful! Adam was very helpful and welcoming. We had a shrimp tapas that was an awesome start! My husband had the meat loaf and mashed potatoes that he said was like home...I had the cordon bleu and it was very tasty. If you come to Appenzell this is a lovely choice.
Richtig schönes Pub, wie man es sich wünscht. Leider bekam ich weder einen Baileys noch einen Irish Coffee. Sollte eigentlich ein Must have sein. Bardamen waren überfordert ob meinen Wünschen. Schade liebe Betreiber. Ich hoffe nächstes mal kriege ich einen Irish Coffee oder einen Baileys.

We ate here a few times while in Appenzell. Our server was always friendly and entertaining. Fast service and generous portions. Our favorites were the arrabbiata pizza and the chicken curry pizza. Very relaxed atmosphere.
