It's always lovely going to the Ling Nan. The service is always great, and the family is amazing. And the food is top notch with great serving sizes at a reasonable price. And I ALWAYS recommend the hot and dry spicy chicken!Kid-friendliness: Honestly, they treated my 3 very well, and as 3 year olds do, he got a bit bored and ran around a bit, and the staff were so pleasant with him. Thank you for that, and he loved the big fish by the door of course
All dishes we sampled were surprisingly delicious, fresh ingredients, excellent balance of flavors. The only thing we weren’t a fan of was the hot and sour soup, it was way too spicy compared to other restaurants. Definitely recommend the gee gee chicken. Service was attentive and friendly even when it was quite busy.
This was our 3rd visit and it happened to be buffet night! What a great “old school” meal. And they have all the old cocktails for only $6. Out little guy is 6 and ate free for the buffet. The atmosphere and the staff as well as the other customers were all so lovely. We will be back and will bring friends family.
New customer I'm addicted to their food! I love the dry spicy chicken, chicken balls, egg foo young, chow mein, green onion cakes, egg rolls! Each food dish has its own unique flavour, plenty of food, original decor that brings me back to when my parents brought me many years ago and the staff are always looking for ways to make your stay perfect. We have been going to the Lingnan restaurant for over 50 years. Excellent restaurant.
We visited the the restaurant September 2/23 for the Buffet. All the sides were excellent. Service was spot on. The food was hot and with fresh ingredients! Food is always great. The buffet , menu, or home delivery all great. Best in Edmonton!
