When we walked in there was nobody to serve us for a good 5 minute. There were dirty plates on some of the tables. I went downstairs to use the toilets there were 2 staff members in the kitchen and the door was open, right next to the toilet! The toilet was filthy, the sink not much better. While we were waiting for the food we saw at least 4 customers walk in and back out as there was nobody there to serve them. When the food came the strawberries clearly hadn’t been washed at they had much and hair on. We came here expecting a good quality dessert and a welcoming atmosphere; however the desserts were not like pictured in the menu, the quality just was not there. My custard was cold and the brownie wasn't gooey in consistency. I informed the staff that my custard was cold, they didn't apologise, they were very disinterested, they just slung it in the microwave then passed it back and it was dripping down the sides of the pot. I would NOT recommend this place.
The service at this branch in Shrewsbury was excellent when we ordered and picked up our desserts. We were greeted immediately upon entering and asked to take a seat while our order was being prepared. The manager even offered us a drink and talked to us about special offers and upcoming desserts. Our order was quickly prepared and served in very well-packaged. Thank you for the fantastic service.
I visited the restaurant late at night, just before closing time, and the server was incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. He was a true joy and a valuable asset to the company. Greg's service made my experience even more enjoyable, especially with the complimentary milkshakes. We wanted to give him a tip, but he graciously declined and insisted on sharing it with his team instead.

On arrival no staff. Rang bell 3 times and waited 10 mins. NOTHING. Then we heard voices so went to back for store to find 4 staff doing nothing. Asked if we could order they said yes go to till. We then waited a further 5 mins for someone to actually come up stairs ! The deserts came out before the drinks. They staff were not wearing any masks, and rude ! Will not be returning again !
waited forever to be seated, there was no one else in the restaurant. Ordered food, 2 pancakes, a milk shake and a non alcoholic mojito. They then only bought one lot of pancakes out, claimed they had no proof of us ordering 2 pancakes as it wasn't on the system. The mojito basically tasted like lemonade with ice and a huge amount of lime.
Granted we ordered at 10.15 but was told the shop was open till 11 , the food came a hour late , 2 crepes and a choc brownie all of it was freezing cold , the crepes were like rubber, nicest bit was the ice cream as it was nice and cold !! Custard on top of brownie both freezing !! Never again will I be ordering !!
Avoid ordering food from this place. Ordered food at 8.30pm last night and it finally arrived at 10.30pm. Called the restaurant to check at 9.30pm to check and they said it had left the restaurant 'some time ago '. The food was cold and the boxes were open in the bag. We had to throw the food away.

I visited the restaurant spontaneously with some friends and my young son. We were seated promptly and the staff was very friendly. The desserts were delicious and they even gave my son a small pot of strawberries for free. The staff was accommodating and attentive.
Was amazing service from Zake was vey welcoming and made sure are visit was amazing was lovely to talk to will definitely be back !!!!
